Juliet is the teenage daughter and only child of Lord and Lady Capulet. From birth Juliet was raised by her Nurse and groomed by her parents to eventually be a suitable bride for a nobleman as the means to raise their stature in Verona. By the time Star Crossed Lovers starts Juliet is of the age to get married and is being courted by the Count Paris, a handsome and wealthy kinsman to Prince Escalus.
